How will it Help?

At HOCEPA - Uganda, we have dedicated our efforts and ability to provide comprehensive resource and compassionate voice for patients of cerebral   palsy in Uganda especially those living in Rural Areas of the country.
In Uganda Facts about Cerebral Palsy have not been evenly published and therefore Cerebral palsy is rather regarded by many people as a  divine occurrence. A big percentage of children in the country suffer from the condition and many of them have died.
Through education and empowerment, HOCEPA is committed to eliminate all preventable cases of cerebral   palsy and other neurological injuries.

HOCEPA offers families of children in Uganda with special needs a kind of help and hope that may change lives for the better. "We want to see change" We know that the grief initially crushes, yet, the undying love for the child and the desire to do everything within the parents' power to help, inspires you them and can never be diminished.
We also understand that they want the same things for their children that all parents want for their children -love, happiness, comfort, safety, longevity, and purpose.

Rural Outreach  Teams 2010
 HOCEPA is organizing  Medical and Development 
outreach teams to rural areas in 2010, the teams shall  
include; a team of specialist advisors
in special education to work in
rural areas where needs
have been identified.
